Covelo is my go-to place in Amarante. I never regret staying here. The staff helped me find a car service on my first visit. It has everything I need - free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, express check-in/out, and more. Perfect for my business trips.

The room was absolutely cozy and comfortable, with a charming tile/marble floor that gave it a delightful touch. Loved having an electric kettle in the room, it made it so convenient to enjoy a cup of tea anytime. The seating area in the room was a fantastic addition, it made the space feel more homely and inviting. The private entrance was such a nice feature, it made us feel like we had our own little hideaway.

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the hairdryer in the bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and tips via WhatsApp. The newsletter provided by the hotel was a thoughtful and impressive detail. The cherry on top was the delicious breakfast at Cafe Lailai, which also offered a stunning view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

Located in the heart of the city center, Covelo offers easy access to many good restaurants where you can enjoy delicious meals. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth at the bakery just across the street, or relax with a cup of coffee at the cafe opposite the door. The rooms are well-appointed and come with comfortable bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep.

The hotel can be a bit noisy due to its central location.

We had a fantastic stay at a unique and well-designed hotel in a beautiful location. The terrace and moss walls were lovely features, and the spacious bedroom with a comfortable bed was perfect. The breakfast at Cafe Lailai with its incredible view was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this hotel.

our recent stay in amarante was amazing, but covelo - the original rooms and suites exceeded our expectations on this golf trip. the room and balcony were beautiful, the view was stunning, and the owner gave us great recommendations for food.

Uncomfortable bedroom lighting.

The rooms were well-appointed with comfortable bedding. The free Netflix access was a nice bonus. The location was really convenient, just a couple of minutes' walk to the sights. Breakfast in the bakery across the street was plentiful and delicious, with a good variety and friendly service. I also enjoyed the stunning first impression of the bedrooms, especially the charming balcony and street view.

Finding the hotel was a bit tricky and the signage was subtle. There can be some noise from the street, but it wasn't too disturbing for me.
